My very first book was a children’s book called Kids Can Cook, published in 1997 by the Children’s Press. Since then I have written or edited many other children’s books. Check the pages to the left for more details of the individual titles.
I worked as a children’s bookseller for many years and I am passionate about children’s books, from the amazing illustrated picture books of Maurice Sendak and Oliver Jeffers, to the teen novels of Sarah Dessen and Patrick Ness.
My latest series is called The Songbird Cafe Girls and it's for readers of age 8+.
