School and library visits are one of the great joys and privileges of my job as a writer, and I love meeting young readers of all ages. If you’d like me to talk about writing and books at your school or library please do contact me.

I also give workshops on writing and getting published for both adults and children. At certain times of the year I have to glue myself to the desk to finish a new novel I’m afraid, but otherwise I’d be delighted to meet you and your pupils. If you would like to book me for your school please use my contact form

I also visit schools and libraries in Ireland and Northern Ireland as part of the Writers in Schools scheme. The Writers in Schools scheme part-funds visits by writers and storytellers to primary and post-primary schools in the Republic of Ireland (funded by The Arts Council) and Northern Ireland (funded by Arts Council Northern Ireland).

I can do live digital visits via your whiteboard if your school is based outside Dublin.

Teacher Comments on Previous School Visits

‘I am a sixth class teacher in St. Andrew’s College and I met you last Friday in the Mermaid in Bray. The girls really enjoyed the talk, they raved about it all the way home. They thought you were hilarious, not to mention inspiring.’
