Sarah Webb has written ten bestselling novels including Always the Bridesmaid, Anything for Love, The Loving Kind and The Shoestring Club (UK, Sept 2012). Her books have been published in many different countries including the US, Australia and Indonesia. She has also written many children’s books, has contributed short stories to several collections including Moments, and has compiled and edited two charity collections of her own, Travelling Light and Mum’s the Word.

She writes a hugely popular series for readers of age 10+, Ask Amy Green. The latest book in the series is Love and Other Drama-Ramas (book 4). The series has been translated into Polish and Italian and is also published in the US. The books have also been shortlisted for the Queen of Teen Award and the Irish Book Awards.

Sarah worked in the book trade for many years as a children’s bookseller and buyer. She now combines writing with schools visits, reading and giving workshops at festivals and reviewing children’s books for the Irish Independent. She also programmes literary events and is on the board of Children’s Books Ireland.

She lives in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin, with her partner and three children and spends as much time as possible in Castletownshend, West Cork.
